Job Description
As a Data Center Engineer,
you will:
1. Maintain the physical and operational
infrastructure of Zoom’s data centers.
2. Monitor systems and handle server and
network equipment.
3. Manage power and cooling systems to
ensure optimal performance.
4. Ensure the physical security of data
center facilities.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams
to support Zoom’s infrastructure operations.
About the Team
The Engineering Operations Team is
the backbone of Zoom’s infrastructure, ensuring seamless functionality and
innovation. They manage the infrastructure for Zoom Phone, Zoom Contact
Center, Zoom Virtual Agent, and Zoom Workforce Management, delivering a
stable and secure platform for millions of users worldwide.
What We’re Looking For
·
Experience in Data
Center Colocation infrastructure (Junior to Mid-level).
·
Proficiency in scripting
languages like Python, JavaScript, PHP, PERL, or Ruby.
·
Familiarity
with JIRA ticketing system and Configuration
Management Database (CMDB).
·
Strong
problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·
Ability to work in a
fast-paced, collaborative environment.
