About the Role
As a Software Engineer at
Visa, you will:
·
Design,
enhance, and build next-generation payment processing systems in
an agile development environment.
·
Work on full-stack
development, including real-time transactional services, RESTful
APIs, and container-based services.
·
Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to deliver highly functional, secure,
scalable, and resilient systems.
·
Contribute
to release planning, code reviews, and continuous
integration for excellent code quality.
Key Responsibilities
·
Develop and
maintain Java-based applications using Spring MVC, Spring
Boot, and MySQL.
·
Participate
in design and code review sessions to ensure high-quality
deliverables.
·
Collaborate
with business partners to elaborate requirements and design
solutions.
·
Design and
execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts to
ensure software quality.
·
Document and
report software defects using bug tracking systems.
·
Present
technical solutions and communicate project status effectively.
Qualifications
·
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
o 2023 or 2024 graduates are eligible.
·
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Java, Spring
Boot, MySQL, and Maven.
o Experience with RESTful API
development and container-based services.
o Knowledge of agile
development, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation
frameworks.
·
Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving and
analytical abilities.
o Excellent communication and
teamwork skills.
o Passion for delivering zero-defect
code and meeting project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
·
Experience
with Hadoop, Spark, and Scala for
large-scale data processing.
·
Familiarity
with Jenkins, Artifactory, and SonarQube.
·
Knowledge
of fintech, fraud detection, or payment
processing systems.
