About the Team
The PhonePe Financial Services
Compliance Team ensures the company adheres to regulatory requirements
and maintains a strong compliance culture. As an Intern CA, you’ll
work closely with this team to assess risks, design controls, and evaluate
compliance with rules and regulations.
Roles and Responsibilities
As an Intern CA, you will:
1. Contribute to identifying risks during
pre-planning stages of product/service launches.
2. Prepare control checklists for regulatory
and non-regulatory functions.
3. Design and execute work programs to
evaluate compliance with rules and regulations.
4. Interact with senior business and
compliance heads to report findings and suggest solutions.
5. Lead walkthroughs and formulate questions
to assess control effectiveness.
6. Draft issue documentation and define
testing scripts for compliance reviews.
7. Coordinate with development teams to run
tests and evaluate outcomes.
8. Stay updated on regulations applicable to
India and the APAC region.
Role Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:

A strong
understanding of product regulations and controls.
·
A passion for
technical compliance and investigative reviews.
·
Excellent
analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
·
Proficiency in Excel
and SQL (preferred but not mandatory).
·
Fluency in written
and spoken English.
·
A detail-oriented,
curious, and time-management mindset.
·
CA qualification or
pursuing CA (mandatory).
