Job Description
As a Junior DevOps Engineer,
you’ll play a key role in supporting the IT operations team. You’ll work
closely with Cloud Operations, development, QA, and IT teams to ensure seamless
deployment and operation of infrastructure and software.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in setting up and maintaining
CI/CD pipelines for development projects.
2. Manage version control systems like Git
and coordinate code merges and deployments.
3. Work with containerization tools like
Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
4. Monitor and report on cloud and
on-premises infrastructure using tools like Nagios, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
5. Develop automation scripts to streamline
operational tasks.
6. Collaborate with the development team to
troubleshoot build and deployment issues.
7. Follow best practices in system
administration, security, and code deployment.
8. Create and maintain system documentation
and standard operating procedures.
9. Evaluate new technologies and contribute
to improving the deployment process.
10. Support the team in managing virtual servers,
databases, and other resources.
Basic Requirements
To be eligible for this role, you should
have:

A degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
·
Familiarity with the
software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
·
Basic understanding
of system administration (Linux/Windows), network protocols, and services.
·
Exposure to
scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl.
·
Basic knowledge of
automation tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef (a
plus).
·
Strong analytical
and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and
written communication skills.
