Role Overview
As a Business Analyst II,
you will be part of the Global Business Services Center (GBSC) Automation
and Engineering Team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and
implement end-to-end workflows that generate datasets essential for reporting
and analytics projects. You will collaborate with stakeholders, including the
VP of Analytics & Metrics and the Director of FP&A, to gather
requirements and contribute to the evolution of Mastercard’s reporting
platform.
Key Responsibilities
·
Develop
workflows and macros in Alteryx for data transformations and
business rule applications.
·
Build
high-level and detailed validations to ensure data quality.
·
Use MS-Excel and MS-PPT to
present findings to customers effectively.
·
Write and
debug SQL queries to extract datasets from Data Warehouses and
relational databases.
·
Collaborate
with Essbase developers to align data feeds with application dimensionality.
·
Partner with
customers during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve
data/application issues.
·
Ensure
compliance with Mastercard’s technical standards and change management
processes.
Qualifications
·
Strong understanding
of Alteryx workflows and macros.
·
Proficiency
in SQL Server or Oracle DB.
·
Advanced
skills in MS-Excel and MS-PPT.
·
Ability to
work on Windows and Linux servers.
·
Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills.
·
Prior
experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) is
desirable.
·
