Job Description: Strategic Cloud Data Engineer, Google Cloud
As a Strategic Cloud Data
Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, migrating, and
operationalizing data infrastructure on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects and collaborate
with stakeholders to deliver innovative cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
·
Interact with stakeholders
to translate customer requirements into actionable solution architectures and
advisory services.
·
Collaborate with
technical leads and partners to drive high-velocity migration and modernization
to GCP.
·
Design,
migrate/build, and operationalize data storage and processing infrastructure
using Cloud-native products.
·
Develop and
implement data quality and governance procedures to ensure data accuracy and
reliability.
·
Organize project
requirements into clear goals and objectives, and create a work breakdown
structure to manage stakeholders.
Requirements
·
Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent
practical experience).
·
Experience in
developing and troubleshooting data processing algorithms using Python,
Java, Scala, Spark, and Hadoop frameworks.
·
Familiarity
with distributed data processing frameworks and GCP
analytical/transactional data stores like BigQuery, CloudSQL, and
AlloyDB.
·
Hands-on experience
with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
·
Proficiency in
writing SQLs for at least one database type.
