About the Role
As a Thermal and Fluid Systems
Engineer at Cummins, you will:
·
Investigate
and resolve product, system, and technology problems related to thermal
and fluid sciences.
·
Apply and
improve engineering processes such as Pre Program Planning (PPP), Product
Preceding Technology (PPT), and Engineering Standard Work (ESW).
·
Collaborate
with cross-functional teams, including product and manufacturing engineers, to
drive project success.
·
Own problem
resolution for moderately complex components and systems.
·
Contribute to
the development of innovative solutions that enhance product performance and
reliability.
Key Responsibilities
·
Conduct
analysis, testing, and documentation to resolve engineering challenges.
·
Collaborate
with stakeholders to define and meet project requirements.
·
Develop
proficiency in critical competency areas such as fluid dynamics, heat
transfer, and thermodynamics.
·
Support the
execution of product development activities and ensure compliance with
engineering standards.

Qualifications

Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or
a relevant STEM field.
o A post-graduate (Master’s) degree

o Beginner-level exposure to Machine
Learning, Data Science, and Generative AI.
o Knowledge of MS Office
