Key Responsibilities
As a Data Science Intern, you
will:
1. Data Analysis & Modeling
o Execute solutions to business problems
using data analysis, data mining, and statistical modeling.
o Analyze complex datasets to
identify patterns, trends, and insights.
2. Reporting & Dashboard Development
o Create and develop reports and
dashboards for United leadership and external stakeholders.
o Use tools like Tableau, Power BI, and
Spotfire to visualize and present findings.
3. Querying & Database Management
o Use SQL (Teradata, TSQL) to
manipulate large datasets and retrieve insights.
4. Communication & Presentation
o Structure insights clearly and present findings
to teams and project managers.
Required Qualifications
·
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in progress (3rd or 4th-year graduate
students).
o Must be available for a 6-month internship.
·
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel &
PowerPoint.
o Ability to manipulate and analyze large
datasets.
o Experience with SQL-based querying
tools (Teradata SQL, Microsoft TSQL).
o Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or
Spotfire for data visualization.

Soft Skills:
o Strong interpersonal skills and
ability to work collaboratively.
o Effective communication skills
(written & verbal) in English.
·
Work Authorization:
o Must be legally authorized to work in
India without sponsorship.
o Must have reliable and punctual
attendance.
Preferred Qualifications

Fields of Study:
o Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations
Research, Applied Mathematics, Economics.

Programming Proficiency:
o Experience in Python, R, or PySpark.
