About the Role: Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer at Vodafone, you’ll be responsible for
designing, testing, and maintaining scalable data management systems.
You’ll also work on data modeling, warehousing, and ETL
processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient
data processing and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Management:
o Design and maintain highly scalable data management systems aligned with
business requirements and industry standards.

2. Integration and

o Support the integration of new data sources into shared environments like
Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) or Big Data Platforms.

3. Technology
Implementation:
o Research new opportunities for data acquisition and integration.
o Develop and implement new data management technologies and custom
software components.
4. Collaboration and
Reporting:
o Collaborate with data architects, modellers, and IT
teams to achieve project goals.
o Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and disaster
recovery procedures.
5. Programming and
Optimization:
o Develop scalable solutions using programming languages like Python,
Scala, and Java.
o Optimize data reliability, efficiency, and quality while designing
solutions for real-time and batch data processing.
