Job Overview
As an Engineer - Software & Application Development, you will
be responsible for contributing to various stages of the software
development lifecycle (SDLC), including writing code, debugging, testing,
and deploying applications. This role focuses on operational tasks and ensures
the delivery of high-quality outcomes while receiving appropriate guidance and
support.
Key Responsibilities
·
Coding & Development:
o Write efficient, effective, and scalable code.
o Prepare software development schedules and timelines.
·
Testing & Debugging:
o Conduct development testing and debug applications to identify and
resolve issues.
o Report testing outcomes and issues to supervisors.
·
Deployment & Support:
o Deploy applications in production environments and ensure their smooth
functioning.
o Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving issues in production
systems.
·
Reporting & Monitoring:
o Prepare reports and dashboards to track project progress, deviations, and
rework times.
o Identify bugs, assess their nature, and execute corrective actions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages, with a strong
focus on Java and Core Java.
·
Familiarity with software applications, development
tools, and debugging environments.
·
Good knowledge of the SDLC process, including
requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
Soft Skills:
·
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
·
Strong organizational skills for preparing
development calendars and tracking progress.
·
Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors
and team members.
Educational Qualification:
·
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or
related technical disciplines.
