Introduction
Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is offering an exciting
internship opportunity for Application Engineering Interns in Bengaluru.
This position allows you to contribute to cutting-edge technology that protects
and enhances power grids globally. As part of the SEL team, you’ll gain
hands-on experience in testing, documentation, and customer support while
working alongside experts in the power systems field.
Role: Application Engineering Intern
Location: Bengaluru, India
Job Type: Internship (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities
As an Application Engineering Intern, you will:
1.
Support the setup and maintenance of communication,
automation, and protection test beds.
2.
Conduct testing on existing and emerging SEL
technologies.
3.
Document activities, results, and best practices.
4.
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service
teams and contribute to product development efforts.
5.
Assist application engineers in creating best
practice application guides for SEL technologies.
6.
Continuously work on identifying and improving
processes to enhance system reliability and security.
7.
Adhere to SEL’s core values, operational principles,
and world-class manufacturing standards.
8.
Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support
the organization’s goals.
Required Qualifications
·
Current student pursuing a degree in Electrical
Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
·
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
·
Strong communication skills, including writing,
documentation, and speaking.
·
Eagerness to learn new skills and assume
responsibilities.
·
Team-oriented with the ability to work cooperatively
in collaborative environments.
·
Satisfactory background check results.
·
Negative drug test result(s).
Preferred Qualifications
·
None specified, but a proactive attitude and
relevant project experience are beneficial.
