As a Data
Analytics Analyst, you will:
·
Analyze
large datasets (internal and external) to derive strategic insights that
influence mid- and long-term business strategies.

Leverage
the Amex closed-loop network to make smarter and more relevant business
decisions.
·
Collaborate
with business partners and clients to deliver custom analytics solutions
and actionable insights.
·
Use
advanced analytical tools and techniques for data mining, cleansing,
extraction, transformation, and interpretation.
·
Work
with various in-house reporting tools to generate standard and custom
reports.
·
Partner
with global analytical teams to align on strategies, share best practices, and
drive impact.
·
Recommend
actionable solutions based on thorough understanding of business needs.
Responsibilities
·
Develop
predictive models or execute analytical solutions to enhance
decision-making in marketing, credit, and risk domains.
·
Process
large datasets using coding tools like Hive, SQL, Python, or others.
·
Identify
insights through statistical techniques and data visualization.
·
Contribute
to innovative strategies aligned with Enterprise Strategy (ES)
objectives.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s/Master’s
degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering
(or related fields).
·
Postgraduate
degree (MBA/MS/M.Tech) in Marketing, Business, Analytics,
or Engineering is preferred.
·
0–2
years of experience in coding tools like SQL, Hive, Python (preferred).
·
Strong
problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to apply quantitative
methods to business challenges.
·
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills for working in a team
environment.
Preferred
Qualifications:
·
Proficiency
in SAS, Java, Hive, Pig, Python, SQL,
or Lumi.
·
Knowledge
of predictive modeling and advanced AI/ML algorithms is a plus.
·
Expertise
in MS Office tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
