Roles and Responsibilities
·
Transaction Monitoring: Oversee merchant and transaction activities to identify
risks or fraud and respond promptly.
·
Discrepancy Handling: Address and manage transaction queries involving
discrepancies and disputes from customers.
·
Chargeback Management: Collaborate with partner banks and the Cybercell to
manage chargebacks and customer disputes, ensuring timely recoveries to
minimize losses.
·
Merchant Interaction: Communicate with merchants and customers to understand
and resolve their concerns.
·
Process Enhancement: Provide insights and suggestions for improving
processes to reduce risks and financial losses.
Skills and Experience Required
·
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree.
·
Experience:
Freshers are encouraged, with an advantage for those familiar with customer
support applications or CRMs like Freshdesk.
·
Knowledge Base:
o Understanding of
chargeback processes, including the different stages and penalties involved.
o Familiarity with
Visa/Mastercard guidelines and technical chargebacks.
o Awareness of fraud
reason codes.
·
Interpersonal Skills: Friendly demeanor and effective handling of
interactions via phone and email.
·
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
·
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the
ability to identify anomalies and suspicious behavior.

Listening Skills:
Ability to understand, anticipate, and respond to queries from various
stakeholders.
