Introduction
QualityKiosk Technologies is hiring Trainee Test Engineers in Mumbai
for its Off-Campus Drive 2024. This role involves application
monitoring, defect handling, and ensuring the performance and availability of
web and mobile applications. It’s an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates
to kickstart their career in software testing and application monitoring.
Role: Trainee Test Engineer
Location: Mumbai, India
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: 0–6 months
Key Responsibilities
1.
Application Monitoring:
o
Monitor web and mobile application performance and
availability.
o
Identify and report issues to the relevant
stakeholders.
2.
Sanity Checks:
o
Support applications across domains like Banking,
Insurance, Ecommerce, Trading, etc.
3.
Effective Communication:
o
Promptly resolve client queries and communicate
updates.
4.
Escalation Process:
o
Highlight challenges and escalate unresolved issues
to the next level.
5.
Task Management:
o
Analyze failures and ensure timely alerts are sent
to stakeholders.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
·
Defects Handling: Accurate and timely identification of issues.
·
Timely Escalation: Ensure alerts are raised
promptly.
·
Performance: Maintain SLA adherence, correctness of
transactions, and process compliance.
·
Client Satisfaction: No complaints from clients or
internal teams.
Skills and Certifications
Technical Skills:
·
Knowledge of mobile browser testing
(preferred).
·
Familiarity with application monitoring tools.
Soft Skills:
·
Strong communication skills.
·
Analytical and logical reasoning.
·
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
effectively.
Certifications:
·
Domain-specific certifications or process-related
courses are an added advantage.
Eligibility Criteria
·
Educational Qualification:
o
BE/BTech (IT, Computer Science, EXTC), BSc/MSc (IT), MCA,
or equivalent.
·
Work Experience: 0–6 months (freshers welcome).
·
Additional Requirements:
o
Willingness to work in shifts.
o
Punctuality and adherence to company policies.
