Position Overview:

Job Title: Customer Service Technical Support Administrator
Location: Remote (India)
Hours: 40-hour work week with flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings

This role will place you at the heart of Pearson’s virtual operations, providing live technical support to candidates navigating the OnVUE online exam platform. As a Pearson Technical Support Coordinator, you will offer guidance, reassurance, and expert troubleshooting to exam candidates, ensuring smooth and successful exam experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

·         Technical Troubleshooting: Assist candidates by identifying technical issues, guiding them through troubleshooting steps, and using Pearson’s case management tools to find the best solution.

·         Documentation: Accurately track and document all candidate interactions to ensure compliance and service improvement.

·         Customer Service Excellence: Engage with candidates empathetically, providing clear instructions and proactive support during their testing experience.

·         Problem Solving: Use critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve unique candidate issues, escalating as necessary to internal teams.

·         Collaboration and Solutioning: Work alongside colleagues and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and communicate trends in technical issues.

Requirements and Qualifications:

·         Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required.

·         Experience: Prior customer service experience preferred; basic technical troubleshooting skills are an advantage.

·         Skills:

o    Proficient with technology tools such as Windows, Microsoft 360 OneDrive, Excel, and Word.

o    Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills.

o    Detail-oriented with strong time-management and conflict resolution abilities.

o    Flexibility for shift work based on business needs, including weekends or evenings.
