for the role of Cloud Applications Consultant in Bangalore for 2024.
This is an exciting opportunity for freshers interested in digital
transformation, cloud technology, and client success.
Role Overview: Cloud Applications Consultant
As a
Cloud Applications Consultant, you’ll be responsible for deploying and managing
OpenText’s Content Server (CS) Platform, offering end-to-end application
lifecycle support. This role involves both technical delivery and customer
interaction, including:
·
Managing multiple projects, from small-scale engagements to
larger, complex implementations.
·
Overseeing the application lifecycle, including deployment,
provisioning, upgrades, and ongoing support.
·
Working directly with customers to ensure smooth implementation
and troubleshooting, requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
·
Project Execution: Collaborate with OpenText’s consulting team
on project phases.
·
System Administration: Manage incident and problem resolution,
configurations, and patching activities.
·
Advanced Configuration: Handle CS software components based on
project requirements.
·
Coordination: Work with internal and external teams,
including 3rd party suppliers and client resources.
·
Automation: Identify automation opportunities for
operational efficiencies.
·
Standards Compliance: Adhere to OpenText’s project management and
quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates
with knowledge and skills in the following areas will have a competitive edge:
·
OpenText Content Suite Platform: Proficiency with CS, Archive Server, xECM,
Brava, OTDS, Search & Indexing; cloud deployment experience is a plus.
·
Systems & Network Administration: Knowledge of Windows, UNIX, and application
management within TCP/IP environments.
·
Database Management: Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL
Server, and MySQL.
·
Programming Skills: Familiarity with SQL, shell scripting, Java,
JavaScript.
·
Web/Application Servers: Experience with IIS, Apache, Tomcat, or
JBoss.
·
Conceptual Knowledge: Object-oriented programming, Web Services,
LDAP configuration, and RDBMS.
