Introduction
NetApp is seeking a
skilled Software Engineer to join their AI Data Platform team in
Bangalore. This role involves working with a collaborative team on the design
and development of NetApp’s AI-driven Data Platform, built on the ONTAP
storage operating system. You’ll work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and
AI frameworks to develop, test, and maintain solutions that power cloud,
hybrid-cloud, and on-premises infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
·
Design,
develop, and test software solutions as part of the ONTAP data management
system.
·
Collaborate
with cross-functional teams across R&D, QA, and engineering support.
·
Debug,
maintain, and improve distributed software solutions.
·
Participate
in product life cycles, from initial concept through implementation and
customer support.
·
Stay
updated on technology advancements and integrate them into projects.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
·
Proficiency
in Python, GO, Java, C/C++.
·
Experience
in Linux, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP.
·
Familiarity
with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
·
Knowledge
of Big Data platforms like Spark or Hadoop.
·
Understanding
of Machine Learning Libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
·
Experience
with REST APIs and Microservices frameworks like Flask.
General Skills:
·
Strong
analytical, multi-threaded programming, and data structuring expertise.
·
Clear
communication and documentation abilities for internal and external teams.
·
A
proactive attitude with a dedication to achieving project goals.
Education & Experience
·
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or relevant field with 2 years of experience, or
Master’s with 1 year of experience, or a Ph.D. with no experience.
·
Exposure
to storage domains and AI/ML frameworks is a plus.
