Position Overview:
As a Software
Quality Engineer at NCR Atleos, you will work with a highly skilled Agile
team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This
entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates passionate about software
testing and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Implement test methodologies, procedures, standards, and tools.
·
Conduct manual functional and regression testing, and
perform volume, performance, and reliability testing.
·
Document test cases, results, and procedures; maintain records for analysis.
·
Design and develop reusable test scripts and components.
·
Work on hardware/software installations and configure test
environments.
·
Track and report bugs using tools like JIRA and PractiTest.
·
Provide estimates of work effort and collaborate effectively with
the team.
·
Support the deployment of design standards and testing best
practices.
·
Prepare test documentation, assist with technical support, and
actively engage in troubleshooting.
Basic Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Computer Engineering, or related fields.
·
0-3 years of experience in software testing.
·
Knowledge of testing methods, GUI testing, backend testing, and
database testing.
·
Strong understanding of software testing concepts,
troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
·
Proficiency in using testing tools such as PractiTest, JIRA,
Robot Framework/Selenium.
·
Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on quality.
·
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a
cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
·
Prior experience in Agile and SDLC environments.
·
Knowledge of development protocols and software standards.
·
Certification in ISTQB or equivalent.
·
Hands-on experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium,
Robot Framework).
