Introduction
As an Associate
Manager - Acquisition at IDFC First Bank, you will focus on acquiring new
current account customers, engaging directly with clients, and serving as a
bridge between the customer and the bank. This role involves driving customer
acquisition, building relationships, and ensuring that customers receive
top-tier service and banking solutions. Additionally, you will support the
Sales Manager in mapping and identifying potential opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition: Acquire new-to-bank (NTB) current account customers,
focusing on the target segment and generating references within the specified
catchment area.
·
Quality Accounts:
Ensure the acquisition of high-quality current accounts, maintaining a product
mix and customer segmentation aligned with organizational goals.
·
Channel Registration: Facilitate proactive registration and activation of
customers for direct banking channels.
·
Target Achievement: Meet and exceed defined monthly targets for new
customer acquisitions by analyzing their transaction banking needs.
·
Market Scoping:
Assist the Sales Manager with catchment mapping and scope out potential
business opportunities.
·
Customer Feedback: Regularly provide feedback to Sales and Relationship
Managers regarding opportunities, needs, and customer insights.
·
Compliance:
Adhere to sales norms and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure
quality sourcing and strict compliance with internal and external guidelines.
Additional Responsibilities
·
Market Awareness:
Maintain an awareness of market trends and customer needs to improve
customer-centric offerings.
·
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with other departments and functions within the
branch to ensure holistic service delivery for customers.
Qualifications and Skills
·
Educational Requirement: Graduate in any discipline
·
Experience:
0-2 years of relevant experience in customer service or sales
·
Skills:
o High level of market
awareness and customer needs
o Proficiency in
customer relationship building
o Understanding of
transaction banking needs
o Strong communication
and interpersonal skills
