Digital is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our
innovative team. This role is designed for individuals who excel in testing,
problem-solving, and quality assurance processes within software development.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will independently tackle quality-related
tasks, break down complex problems, estimate timelines, and collaborate with
various teams to maintain software standards.
Key Responsibilities
In this
role, you will:
·
Estimate time required for quality tasks and break down complex
problems.
·
Display expertise in application domains and various functional
areas.
·
Implement effective testing types and methodologies across the
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
·
Take ownership of small tasks, delivering outcomes independently
while seeking guidance when needed.
·
Apply SDLC principles and methodologies like Lean/Agile, CI,
Software Security, Scalability, and Documentation Practices.
·
Deliver thorough testing and use case creation that aligns with
project standards.
·
Write effective tests based on best practices, ensuring
functionality and validity during code refactoring.
·
Collaborate with the development team in bug fixing and
participate in build plans.
·
Work with Quality Leaders in test plan creation.
·
Implement system-level integration testing and configure testing
tools.
·
Utilize core data structures and algorithms, contributing to best
practices, coding patterns, and quality metrics.
Qualifications
·
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) disciplines.
·
Experience: Basic experience in software quality
assurance or testing.
Technical Expertise
·
Strong understanding of infrastructure needs for distributed web
applications.
·
Ability to assess problems, estimate time for tasks, and make
foundational technology choices.
·
Awareness of industry standards, competitors, and best practices
in QA and software testing.
Additional Skills
·
Business Acumen: Effective communication, collaboration, and
an understanding of how personal and team goals contribute to organizational
objectives.

Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving abilities,
initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to innovate.
