Introduction
Cisco's
Technical Graduate Apprenticeship Program is a full-time, 12-month training
opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience in technology development
and network solutions. This program, aligned with the National Apprenticeship
Training Scheme (NATS), empowers recent graduates to develop real-world skills
across various technical domains, including software engineering, network
operations, system reliability, and hardware design.
Responsibilities and Key Learning Areas
As a
Technical Graduate Apprentice, you’ll get to work on projects across diverse
areas:
·
Automation & Reliability Engineering: Design and build tools to enhance
scalability, automate deployments, and monitor network platforms and services.
·
System Administration & SRE: Apply software engineering practices to
operations, bridging development and system management to optimize performance.
·
Product Development & Testing: Collaborate on SaaS software deployment,
develop testing frameworks, and work on hardware automation and validation.
·
Real-Time Analytics & User Experience: Gain insight into application performance
metrics and enhance user experience through end-to-end visibility.
Eligibility Criteria
To be
eligible, candidates should:
·
Have graduated in 2023/2024 with a recognized degree in a
technical field and possess a final degree completion certificate or
provisional degree certificate.
·
Commit to a full 12-month term starting August 2024.
·
Enroll as a student with NATS and have a valid enrollment number
from the portal: NATS Registration.
·
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, a passion for
technology, and a proactive approach to teamwork.
