Introduction
Smile Brands, a
leading player in the dental industry, is seeking a Credentialing Specialist
to join its dynamic team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for
managing provider credentialing files, ensuring timely renewals, and
maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This position is
ideal for detail-oriented professionals with prior experience in healthcare
credentialing.
Key Responsibilities:

Credentialing Process: Handle initial credentialing and re-credentialing
applications for dental providers.
·
Application Review: Screen and verify practitioners’ credentials and
supporting documentation to determine eligibility.
·
Data Management:
Capture and update provider information in computer databases, ensuring
accuracy and timely updates.
·
Compliance:
Ensure all credentialing activities comply with applicable laws, regulations,
and company policies.
·
Inquiries:
Respond to provider inquiries regarding credentialing status and requirements.
Qualifications:
·
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in credentialing or a related healthcare administrative role.
·
Knowledge:
Familiarity with provider credentialing, privileging procedures, and standards.
·
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based
systems. Ability to learn new applications quickly.
·
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for
accuracy.
·
Communication:
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact
professionally with providers and colleagues.
Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
·
