About the Team
The Product
Assurance Engineering Team is responsible for the verification and
validation of products across Seagate’s HDD, SSD, and Systems portfolios.
We operate in a fast-paced, global environment, delivering affordable solutions
for mass capacity environments. Our team values collaboration while recognizing
and rewarding individual contributions.
Role: Intern - Automation
Location: Pune, India
Type: Full-time Internship
Key Responsibilities
As an Intern
- Automation at Seagate, you will:
·
Develop Test Infrastructure: Assist in building and maintaining test
infrastructure and frameworks.
·
Project Execution: Complete assigned internship projects as per
plan and deliver high-quality results.
·
System Understanding: Gain a thorough understanding of the design
details of storage systems and product architecture.
·
Test Case Development: Develop and execute test cases to
validate system performance and functionality.
·
Reporting: Generate detailed reports and collaborate
with teams for integration and system support.
·
Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the engineering
laboratory and its equipment.
Skills and Knowledge Required
To
succeed in this role, you should have:
·
Knowledge of Testing & Automation: Understanding of test frameworks,
automation, and framework design.
·
Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems and
provide effective solutions.
·
Programming Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming
languages including Python, C, C++, Java.
·
Familiarity with Tools: Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Web
Development.
·
Quick Learner: Ability to learn new tools and technologies
rapidly.
·
Self-Motivation: Strong initiative and the ability to work
independently.
Preferred Experience
Experience
or knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous:
·
Programming Languages: Python, C, C++, Java.
·
Tools & Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
·
Web Development: Familiarity with front-end and back-end
development.
·
Algorithms & Data Structures: Understanding of key concepts and their
application.
