Job Role: Graduate Engineer Trainee
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra
Experience: 0-1 years
Educational Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics,
or Automobile Engineering
Key Responsibilities (Job Result Areas/KRAs)
·
Project Understanding: Learn and understand different types of
projects, including their scope and technical requirements.
·
Project Management Fundamentals: Assist the project engineer in managing
projects efficiently to ensure they are completed within budget and on
schedule.
·
Independent Handling: Develop the ability to handle projects
independently as you gain experience.
Principal Activities
·
Coordination & Follow-Up: Regular follow-up with internal departments
such as Design, Purchase, Automation, Stores, Accounts, and Logistics to ensure
smooth project execution.
·
Communication & Documentation: Maintain clear project communication and
documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
·
Bill of Materials (BOM) Management: Assist in calculating and validating the BOM
entries within the ERP system.
·
Project Scheduling: Prepare and maintain project schedules using
Microsoft Project to ensure timely execution.
·
Material Tracking: Monitor and track materials, coordinating
with teams to manage assembly and dispatches.
·
Comprehensive Project Exposure: Gain exposure to various aspects of project
management, including design approval, material management, site management,
and project closure.
·
Project Assistance: Support the project engineer from the
initiation phase (kick-off) to project handover and closure.
Required Skill Sets
·
Project Management: Basic understanding of project management
fundamentals, with a willingness to learn more.
·
Software Proficiency:
o Microsoft
Project: Ability
to create and manage project schedules.
o ERP
Systems: Experience
or willingness to learn ERP systems for project tracking.
o MS
Office:
Competency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
·
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication
skills to coordinate effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
·
Adaptability & Learning: Quick learner, flexible, and able to work in
diverse environments under pressure.
·
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and address
project-related issues promptly.
·
Willingness to Travel: Must be open to travel as required for
project management tasks.
