Location: Bangalore, India

Key Responsibilities
As an Associate
Application Engineer at NTT DATA, you will:
·
Assist in Application Development: Help design and develop applications that
meet client needs and objectives.
·
Code & Database Management: Contribute to writing code and maintaining
application databases.
·
Software Optimization: Analyze and edit existing applications to
improve functionality, resolve problems, and adapt them for new hardware
platforms.
·
Client Collaboration: Assist with identifying client requirements
and support in the design phase to understand their needs.
·
Testing & Quality Assurance: Test applications extensively to ensure they
are error and bug-free.
·
Technical Support: Install applications and act as a technical
advisor, providing support for any technical issues.
·
Documentation: Produce and maintain software
documentation following company standards.
·
Project Collaboration: Participate in software product review
meetings and collaborate with team members on various projects.
Skills & Competencies
To
succeed in this role, you should have:
·
Programming Knowledge: Basic understanding of Java, Python, C++,
Perl, or other programming languages. Familiarity with software
development processes and integrated development environments.
·
Technical Proficiency: Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows
operating systems. Knowledge of SQL and experience working with
databases.
·
Agile Development: Understanding of Agile development
practices, such as Scrum.
·
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to solve
technical problems and make timely decisions.
·
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication
skills for effective collaboration.
·
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively and maintain
team integrity.
·
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for accuracy and quality in all
tasks.
Qualifications & Certifications
·
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer
Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
·
Preferred Certifications: Certifications in Java, Python, C++,
or Scrum/Project Management are advantageous.
·
Experience: Basic experience in software development
or related fields, with familiarity in programming languages, operating
systems, and SQL. Experience in project management or Agile
environments is beneficial.
