Job Role: Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET)
Location: Bangalore, India
Position: Full-time, Entry-level
Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate
Engineer Trainee at Molex, you will:
·
Product Design & Development: Assist in the design and development
of CES products, including Coresync, Copper, and Fiber solutions for
data, smart buildings, and voice communications. Support senior engineers to
ensure that designs meet product performance specifications.
·
Sustaining Engineering Projects: Work on Engineering Change Requests (ECR)
and Engineering Work Requests (EWR). Gain exposure to the Product
Development Process (PDP) and assist in documentation, design reviews,
3D modeling, 2D drawings, and technical documents.
·
Design Verification: Participate in design verification
activities, learning tools such as DVP, DFMEA, and tolerance
analysis. Assist in product testing and learn about compliance processes
like UL, CE, REACH, RoHS, and others.
·
Collaboration: Work closely with global teams
including Operations, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Quality. Support
interactions with manufacturing and suppliers, learning about Design for
Manufacturing (DFM) and working towards production.
·
Quality & Continuous Improvement: Gain exposure to quality checks and continuous
improvement initiatives. Work with cross-functional teams to learn about Lean
practices and product improvements.
·
Global Interaction: Engage with global teams from USA, India,
Australia, Poland, and China. Flexibility in working hours may be required
to accommodate different time zones.
Who You Are
·
Educational Background: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a
related field (GTTC, NTTF qualifications are also acceptable).
·
Eager to Learn: Willingness to develop skills in 3D CAD
modeling, SAP, and PLM systems (training will be provided).
·
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of plastic and sheet
metal design is a plus.
·
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication
skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
·
Team Player: Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to
learn in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
