Job Overview:
Position: Post Graduate Engineer Trainee (PGT)
Location: Bangalore, India
As a Post Graduate
Engineer Trainee, you will be responsible for contributing to New Product
Development (NPD) and Modification (MOD) projects, primarily focused on
electro-mechanical systems and automation solutions. You will closely
collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, ensuring quality,
innovation, and efficiency in designing and developing advanced systems.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Execute
New Product Development (NPD) and Modification (MOD) tasks, meeting set project
targets.
·
Collaborate
with requestors, peers, supervisors, and product management to meet Voice of
Customer (VOC) requirements.
·
Design
and develop electro-mechanical systems for fixtures, automation, and robotic
applications.
·
Build,
test, and iterate prototypes to validate designs.
·
Maintain
and create detailed design documentation, including schematics, CAD models, and
Bill of Materials (BOM).
·
Work
with mechanical and software engineers to integrate systems into complete
solutions.
·
Utilize
CAD tools such as NX/Teamcenter for design tasks.
·
Collaborate
with suppliers and manufacturers to source components and ensure
manufacturability.
·
Support
project optimization and continual improvements.
Qualifications:
·
Education:
BE or M-Tech in Mechatronics Engineering.
·
Proficiency
in tools like NX, Teamcenter, and SAP.
·
Understanding
of physics, engineering mechanics, and fixture design principles.
·
Ability
to design simple electrical circuits and integrate sensors into systems.
·
Basic
programming knowledge (Python, C, MATLAB) and experience with microcontrollers
like Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
·
Knowledge
of safety standards and testing methodologies for electro-mechanical systems.
·
Strong
skills in documentation, problem-solving, and communication.
Preferred Skills:
·
Experience
with MBD (Model-Based Design) for electro-mechanical products.
·
Familiarity
with programming languages and automation for testing procedures.
·
Knowledge
of integrating sensors and control systems into mechanical designs.
