Role Overview
McAfee is
seeking a skilled Observability/DevOps Engineer to join its dynamic
team. The role requires experience in cloud infrastructure and application
setup, along with expertise in tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt,
Prometheus, Cortex, and Druid. You will be responsible for
managing observability infrastructure and ensuring seamless integration of
monitoring tools into McAfee’s cloud environment.
Location: Remote (India only)
Key Responsibilities
·
Develop Monitoring Solutions: Create and maintain observability solutions
for both infrastructure and applications using Prometheus, Cortex,
and Druid.
·
Automation: Automate infrastructure setup and scaling
processes using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm charts.
·
System Reliability: Ensure high availability and reliability of
monitoring systems, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure.
·
Collaboration: Work closely with the DevOps and Engineering
teams to implement observability tools and enhance application monitoring.
·
Dashboard Management: Design and implement scalable dashboards for
tracking key metrics, ensuring optimal system performance.
·
Continuous Optimization: Optimize existing tools and participate in
troubleshooting and incident response to address any system issues.
About You
·
Infrastructure Expertise: Proven experience in cloud infrastructure
setup and application observability.
·
Monitoring Tools: Strong knowledge in designing, configuring,
and managing monitoring solutions with Prometheus, Cortex, and Druid.
·
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Terraform, Terragrunt,
and Helm charts.
·
Cloud Expertise: In-depth understanding of AWS
dashboards and the ability to analyze various metrics for system optimization.
·
Collaborative Skills: Strong team player with excellent
communication and troubleshooting skills.
·
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with
cross-functional teams including DevOps and engineering.
