Your Role as an Associate Corporate Action Analyst
As an Associate
Corporate Action Analyst at IG Group, you’ll be part of our welcoming
and collaborative team, responsible for managing corporate actions,
dividends, and stock transfers. Your role will involve the accurate and
timely processing of corporate actions across multiple platforms, ensuring
smooth operations and high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
·
Corporate Action Processing: Handle both mandatory and voluntary
corporate action events.
·
Client Communication: Send client emails detailing corporate
action events and election choices.
·
Data Management: Collate client instructions and prepare
client bookings.
·
Reconciliation: Post client dividends and conduct synthetic
dividend reconciliations.
·
Customer Support: Address client queries related to corporate
actions and assist helpdesk teams.
·
Internal System Updates: Ensure all IG internal systems are
accurately updated.
·
Reconciliation Issue Resolution: Resolve any reconciliation issues arising
from corporate action events.
What We’re Looking For
We’re on
the lookout for enthusiastic team players who can handle the dynamic nature of
the fintech world. Here’s what you need to be successful in this role:
Skills & Qualifications
·
Basic Understanding: Knowledge of various corporate action
events.
·
Shift Flexibility: Ready to work in APAC shift (2:30 am
or 3:30 am IST).
·
Product Knowledge: Good understanding of equity and
derivative products.
·
Education: Graduates from tier 1 colleges or
professionals with 1-2 years of experience in the corporate action domain are
encouraged to apply.
·
Microsoft Excel: Proficiency is a must.
·
Risk Awareness: Familiarity with risks associated with
corporate action events, including client money.
·
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on ensuring accurate and
quality service delivery.
·
Team Player: Ability to work effectively with a team.
·
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication
skills.
·
Proactivity: Ready to go beyond the typical
responsibilities and support the team during peak times.
·
Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and
organizational abilities.
