Job Title: Lead Consultant - Cloud Operations Engineer AWS/Azure

Role Overview: As a Lead Consultant - Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be a key contributor in maintaining and supporting Genpact's cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure platforms. This role requires a collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams and deliver reliable, secure, and scalable cloud solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Support the deployment, management, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.

·         Monitor cloud system health, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.

·         Manage cloud resources, including VMs, storage, and networking.

·         Develop and maintain automation scripts for cloud operations (using PowerShell, Python, Bash).

·         Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for provisioning.

·         Implement and maintain security best practices in cloud environments.

·         Assist with cloud security tools and monitoring solutions to protect against threats.

·         Identify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.

·         Provide support during cloud-related incidents and manage change processes.

·         Maintain documentation for cloud environments, procedures, and configurations.

·         Collaborate with project teams for effective cloud solution delivery.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

·         Experience with cloud platforms AWS and Azure.

·         Basic knowledge of cloud networking and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).

·         Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation.

·         Internship or entry-level experience in cloud operations or IT infrastructure is a plus.

·         Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) is beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals certification.

·         Excellent communication and collaboration skills for interacting with stakeholders.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for addressing cloud infrastructure issues.

·         Ability to work independently and within a team in a proactive manner.
