Introduction:
Genesco, a global footwear and fashion retailer, is looking for a dedicated Seasonal Call Center Representative to join the Journeys team. This work-from-home position involves handling customer inquiries through chats and emails, assisting with order placements, product information, tracking, and providing support for cancellations or returns. As a Chat Support Representative, your primary goal is to ensure exceptional customer service that enhances the overall shopping experience.
Location:
Nashville, USA (Remote)
Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Manage inbound chats and emails from customers, offering
assistance with orders and resolving any issues efficiently.
·
Order Processing: Utilize various software tools to navigate customer
accounts, process orders, and manage payment information.
·
Brand Representation: Act as a Journeys ambassador, ensuring customer
interactions are personalized to foster brand loyalty.
·
Performance Metrics: Consistently meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and
maintain high-quality service standards.
·
Data Security:
Ensure customer data privacy, adhering to company policies on information
security.
·
General Support:
Provide additional assistance as needed for business operations.
Qualifications:
·
Experience:
No prior experience required; however, customer service or retail experience is
preferred.
·
Communication Skills: Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal
communication, including accurate grammar and syntax.
·
Problem-Solving:
Ability to quickly understand and resolve customer concerns, offering effective
solutions.
·
Adaptability:
Thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting performance goals.
·
Conflict Resolution: Skilled at handling and resolving conflicts in a
professional manner.
·
Typing Skills:
Must meet minimum typing speed and accuracy requirements.
·
Availability:
Must be available for 32-40 hours per week with flexibility for various shifts.
Hours of operation are:
o Sunday: 10 am - 7 pm CST
o Monday-Friday: 7 am - 8 pm CST
o Saturday: 9 am - 6 pm CST
Work-From-Home Requirements:

A
dedicated and distraction-free workspace.
·
A
desktop or laptop with the latest operating system (no tablets or Chromebooks).
·

functional monitors.
·
An
active cell phone with service and a charger.
·
A
webcam (integrated or external) and a headset with a microphone.
·
A
stable internet connection with a minimum of 50Mbps download and 5Mbps upload
speed.

All
equipment and services will be provided at the employee's expense and verified
during the hiring process.
