Program Overview: Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP)
The OMLP
at GE Vernova is a two-year rotational program designed for entry-level
engineers. It consists of four 6-month rotations, where participants gain
hands-on experience and build leadership skills in manufacturing, sourcing,
materials management, and quality. The program combines challenging assignments
with structured training, helping you develop functional and leadership
expertise.
Mandatory Rotations:
1. Manufacturing
Shop Operations Supervisor: Lead a
team of hourly workforce members, manage operations, and ensure quality.
2. Sourcing/Materials
Management: Gain
experience in procurement, material flow, and supply chain coordination.
3. Technical
Role: Work in
areas such as quality, lean manufacturing, or process engineering.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in world-class training covering lean
principles, EHS, quality, and functional skills.

Lead projects that help improve manufacturing efficiency,
sourcing strategies, and supply chain processes.
·
Collaborate with diverse teams to solve problems and develop
innovative solutions for GE Vernova’s manufacturing and supply chain
operations.

Engage in leadership development through global and functional training
sessions, building business acumen and leadership skills.
Qualifications:
Basic
Requirements:
·
Master’s Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management (must have
hands-on manufacturing experience).
·
Unrestricted work authorization to work in India.
·
Strong academic record with a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
·
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
·
Willingness to relocate within India for rotational assignments.
·
Desire to stay in India upon completion of the program.
Preferred Qualifications:
·
Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, lean management, or supply
chain.
·
Majors in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
·
Strong problem-solving skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a
commitment to a career in manufacturing/supply chain.
