Role Overview:
Eaton is
looking for Associate Engineers for the 2024 batch to join our team in
Pune. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting the
manufacturing of conveyance products. You will work on diverse engineering
tasks, from creating 3D models and component specifications to supporting
product testing and documentation. Fresh graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree
in Mechanical Engineering are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Execute projects and assignments as directed by the team leader
or engineering manager.
·
Create and update engineering documentation such as detail
drawings, 3D models, bills of materials, and component specifications.
·
Perform specific engineering tasks related to product design,
testing, and preparation of specifications.
·
Work independently on particular design modules of a larger
mechanical system, developing design concepts.
·
Maintain effective communication with team members and
other departments.
·
Follow design standards and Eaton’s Product Launch processes.
·
Provide CAD support using specified software and manage
data exchange and document control.
·
Prepare fully parametric designs of various components
incorporating DFM & DFA fundamentals and drafting standards.
·
Apply GD&T and perform tolerance stack-ups for detailed
designs.
·
Use DFSS tools like PDSC, P-Diagram, DFMEA, and Risk
Management for new product development or improvements.
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
·
0 to 1 year of engineering or product design experience
in a relevant domain.
Preferred Skills:
·
Proficiency in CAD tools; preferably CATIA, with
experience in PLM tools.
·
Strong and effective communication skills.
·
Creative thinking with the ability to ideate and develop design
concepts.
·
Awareness of DFSS tools like FMEA, FMECA, Monte Carlo
Analysis, etc.
·
Capability to perform root cause analysis.
·
Hard-working attitude with a desire for excellence in project
execution.
