Job Role: Finance Reporting Analyst
Location: Mumbai, India
Position: Full-time, Entry-level (Fresher)
Job Summary
The Finance
Reporting Analyst is responsible for generating, tracking, and submitting
financial reports in collaboration with the Finance Team. The role
involves preparing and reporting business and financial transactions, reports,
and statements according to local regulatory guidelines. You will be expected
to handle routine tasks, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure compliance
with regulatory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Finance
Reporting Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
·
Report Analysis & Submission: Support the analysis and submission of
reports to various entities, including local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC,
etc., based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local
statutory reporting.
·
Book Closure & Consolidation: Assist in closing the books and sub-ledgers,
including passing adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of
each accounting period.
·
Procedure Implementation: Facilitate the implementation of procedures
and the development of analyses and reports.
·
Routine Output Delivery: Deliver routine and defined outputs while
adhering to deadlines.
·
Problem Escalation: Escalate problems or issues related to
transactions, processes, reports, or procedures as needed.
·
Risk Management: Appropriately assess risk when making
business decisions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
·
Compliance & Ethics: Demonstrate ethical judgment regarding
personal behavior and business practices, safeguarding Citi's reputation,
clients, and assets.
Qualifications
To
succeed in this role, you should have:

Experience: 0-2 years of experience in finance,
financial services, or an accounting internship (preferred).
·
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office,
especially MS Excel.
·
Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail.
·
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and
concisely, both in writing and verbally.
Educational Requirements
·
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Finance,
Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
