Carnegie India Young Ambassadors Program in New Delhi | Apply Now | Placement Officer
Introduction
Carnegie
India is
inviting applications for the Young Ambassadors Program (CIYAP), a
one-year program starting from December 2024 and running until December
2025. This unique initiative is aimed at young individuals passionate about
technology policy and research-based policymaking. The program provides
an opportunity to engage with leading experts, participate in groundbreaking
projects, and contribute to crucial public policy issues under the Technology
and Society focus area at Carnegie India.
Program Highlights:
·
Location: Carnegie India, New Delhi.
·
Duration: One-year, from December 2024 to December
2025.
·
Focus Area: Technology and Society, covering
topics like AI, Digital Public Infrastructure, semiconductors,
biotechnology, cybersecurity, digital privacy, and more.
What You'll Do:
1. Engage
with Experts: Work
with both Indian and global experts on regional, national, and global public
policy challenges.
2. Contribute
to Policy Research: Assist
in various technology policy projects and research activities, contributing
your own insights.
3. Build
Professional Skills: Gain
key professional skills such as critical thinking, leadership, report
writing, and analytical abilities.
4. Mentorship: Receive mentorship from Carnegie India
scholars and build networks with influential leaders and policymakers.
5. Event
Participation: Support
the planning and organization of events, including the Global Technology
Summit, Carnegie India's flagship annual event.
Responsibilities:
·
Conduct research on diverse topics like AI, data
governance, biotechnology, cybersecurity, and more.
·
Assist scholars with ongoing projects, background
research, and event organization.
·
Work with Carnegie India's program, development, and
communication teams to support various verticals.
·
Help with administrative, editorial, research, and writing tasks
as needed.
Eligibility Criteria:
·
Recent graduate in any discipline, with a keen interest in technology
policy.
·
Must be committed to working full-time for the entire year
in New Delhi.
·
Preference given to candidates from non-metropolitan cities
in India.
·
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend and a one-time
relocation allowance.
