About the Early Career Traineeship
The Early
Career Traineeship is a 6–12 month program designed to provide fresh
graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in software
engineering. Through this traineeship, you will develop technical expertise,
learn industry best practices, and gain exposure to real-world projects that
drive intelligent solutions in energy extraction and monitoring.
Job Role: Early Career Trainee - Software Engineering
Location: Pune or Mumbai, India
Duration: 6–12 months
Work Arrangement: Flexible working patterns available
Key Responsibilities
As an Early
Career Trainee - Software Engineering at Baker Hughes, you will:

Software Development: Work on both back-end and front-end
development using technologies and programming languages based on project
requirements.
·
Enterprise-Scale Projects: Engage in complex projects, understanding
business needs, and connecting them with technical solutions.
·
Technical Frameworks: Learn and apply best practices for scalable
and maintainable code.
·
Problem-Solving: Break down problems, estimate development
time, and design solutions that meet project objectives.
·
System Understanding: Understand the whole product, its modules,
and how they interconnect, ensuring seamless functionality.

Interface Design: Design interfaces and enable information
exchange between modules, contributing to efficient system architecture.
Qualifications & Skills
To be
successful in this role, you should:

Education: Have a Bachelor's degree in STEM,
preferably in Computer Science/Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
·
Technical Skills:
o Quick
learning ability in backend development using Node.js and
frontend development using Angular or React.
o Proficiency
in JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, and the ability to develop RESTful
services & APIs using REST, XML, JSON, API Gateway.
o Experience
or knowledge in Micro-services and Docker/containerization.
o Strong
understanding of backend services, including session management, caching,
secure coding, and data structures.
o Ability
to build and maintain Web/Cloud applications with a focus on backend
development.

Leadership & Collaboration: Good understanding of technical development
with leadership potential, and the ability to work both independently and as
part of a team.

Adaptability: Willingness to learn, innovate, and adapt
quickly to new technologies and frameworks.
