Job Overview:
Position: IT Support Associate
Location: Bangalore, India
As an IT Support
Associate, you will be responsible for providing IT support within a 24x7
operational environment, focusing on troubleshooting technical issues on client
devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners. You will also
work closely with global IT teams and internal customers, ensuring adherence to
operational standards and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Effective
Communication: Interact with
Amazon’s internal customers, including IT and operational teams in APAC, EMEA,
and AMER regions.
2. IT Troubleshooting: Provide basic troubleshooting for end-user devices, such
as desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.
3. Operating Systems: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows and
Linux operating systems.
4. Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs): Follow established
SOPs to ensure consistency in daily operations.
5. Customer Service: Work in a 24x7 rotational shift to provide real-time IT
support, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
6. Service Desk Goals: Meet targets for response times, resolution SLAs, and
customer satisfaction scores (CSAT).
7. Location: This position is based at Amazon’s corporate office in
Bangalore (BLR18).
Basic Qualifications:
·
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma.
·
Experience:
0-18 months of work experience.
·
Skills: Good communication
skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
·
Basic
understanding of ITIL-based ticketing and monitoring tools.
·
Basic
knowledge of network troubleshooting.
