Amazon is hiring Freshers as IT Support Associates for All Graduates & Diploma Holders in Karnataka | Placement Officer

About the Role

As an IT Support Associate at Amazon, you will be responsible for providing effective and timely IT support across various Amazon operations and internal/external services, including Amazon Lockers. You will work closely with internal customers across different regions (APAC/EMEA/AMER) to ensure smooth and efficient operations, thereby playing a key role in Amazon's ability to serve its customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

1.       Effective Communication: Engage with Amazon’s internal customers, including Operations, IT teams, and Customer Support, to deliver clear and concise communication.

2.      Adherence to SOPs: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and efficiency in daily operations.

3.      IT Troubleshooting: Resolve basic IT issues on various end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners.

4.     Operating Systems: Provide troubleshooting and support for Windows and Linux operating systems.

5.      Flexible Work Schedule: Be prepared to work in rotational shifts to provide real-time customer experience support in a 24x7 operating environment.

6.     Service Desk Goals: Meet response and resolution SLA targets, CSAT, and manage incidents efficiently.

7.      On-Site Requirement: This role will require you to work from the Bangalore (BLR18) Corporate Office.

Basic Qualifications

·         Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any field.

·         Experience: Freshers with 0 to 18 months of work experience.

·         Communication Skills: Strong proficiency in both verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications

·         ITIL Knowledge: Basic understanding of ITIL-Based Ticketing Tools and Monitoring Tools.

·         Network Troubleshooting: Basic understanding and troubleshooting skills on networking.
