Samsung Off Campus Drive 2024 | Join as a Firmware Engineer - Computer Imaging and Vision in Bangalore
Introduction
Samsung is currently hiring for the position
of Firmware Engineer to work on Computer Imaging and Vision in their
Bangalore office. This role involves developing firmware for ARM-based
multimedia accelerators, with a focus on advanced camera technologies. Below
are the details of the job and its responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
·
Develop multitasking firmware using RTOS for ARM-based multimedia
accelerators.
·
Create firmware code for ARM Cortex M/A/R series CPU cores, DMA
engines, Interrupt Controllers, Timers, and Memory Management Units.
·
Perform profiling and performance analysis on hardware blocks and
firmware sections.
·
Work with camera imaging technologies such as ISP (Image Signal
Processing), RVC (Rearview Camera), and Surround View systems.
·
Familiarize with camera sensors, camera host interfaces, and
video-camera sensor chips.
Requirements:
·
Education: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/PhD
in relevant fields.
·
Skills and Experience:
o Proficiency
in C programming and Linux environment.
o Hands-on
experience in device drivers, kernel, and board support packages (BSP).
o Experience
with ARM Cortex series CPUs.
o Knowledge
of specialized interfaces like PXA27x, i.MX27, SuperH, and more.
