About the Team:
You will
be reporting to Jaideep Singh, a supportive manager known for fostering
a fun and collaborative work culture. Nutanix embraces a hybrid work model,
where you are expected to work from the office four times a week, providing a
balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility.
Job Role: Member of Technical Staff (MTS)
As an MTS,
you will gain hands-on experience working with complex distributed systems.
This role involves developing, testing, automating, and delivering
high-quality features. You will also have the opportunity to engage with
customers and support the team in solving production issues.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Deep dive into distributed systems: Gain a deep understanding of scalable cloud
architecture and storage virtualization.
·
Feature design and delivery: Influence feature decisions while focusing
on quality and customer satisfaction.
·
Test automation: Design and implement high-level test
approaches, automate tests, and ensure automated regression runs for
future releases.
·
Problem-solving: Analyze failures, identify root causes, and
work on resolutions to enhance product quality.
·
Collaboration: Work across multiple disciplines such as Testing,
Development, and DevOps to ensure smooth feature delivery.
What You’ll Bring:
·
A love for programming and proficiency in languages like Python,
Go, C/C++, or Java.
·
Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
·
Ability to innovate, solve problems, and work
independently across multiple technologies.
·
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented
mindset.
·
0.6 - 1 year of hands-on experience in programming or
related fields.
·
A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
