Developers in Chennai. As an API Developer, you will play a key role
in solving critical business challenges by building and maintaining API
integrations for both on-premise and cloud systems. You will collaborate with
multiple stakeholders and contribute to the successful implementation of
cutting-edge API solutions.
About the Role:
As an API Developer, you will work closely with Technology
Delivery Managers, Business Units, Solution Architects, and
vendor partners. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain
integrations, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical expertise in large,
complex environments. The role requires strong programming skills, knowledge of
web services standards, and the ability to develop solutions that meet business
requirements.
Location: Chennai
Experience: 0-3 years
Education: B.E. in Computer Science or Information Technology
from Tier I/II Institutes
Key Responsibilities:
·
Interface & Integration Development: Design and develop
integration flows and interfaces.
·
Programming & Development: Use various programming
languages and tools to build software solutions, review code, fix bugs, test,
document, and implement integrations.
·
Technical Expertise: Explain complex technical
issues to project managers, developers, and architects, recommending clear,
effective solutions.
·
Integration Design: Apply knowledge of Integration
Design Patterns to build middleware systems.
·
Web Services: Expertise in SOA architecture, and fluency
in XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, REST, and UDDI
for building and consuming web services.
·
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, providing
bug fixes when needed.
·
Security & Monitoring: Knowledge of security
protocols, logging, policy management, and performance monitoring to ensure
smooth API performance.
·
Reporting: Provide regular status updates and contribute to
timely project delivery within budget.
Required Skills:
·
Strong knowledge of SOA architecture and web
service standards such as SOAP, REST, XML, WSDL, XSD.
·
Programming Languages: Experience with J2EE
framework-based solutions is preferred.
·
Relational Databases: Understanding of relational
database management systems.
·
Familiarity with security, logging, auditing, and
performance monitoring in API development.
·
Excellent communication skills to explain complex
technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
·
B.E. in Computer Science or Information Technology from a Tier
I/II institute.
·
0-3 years of experience in API development or
related roles.
