Job Role: Fab Engineering Intern
As a Fab
Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in monitoring and analyzing electrical,
defect, and metrology data during fab processing. You will support various
engineering teams, working closely on projects related to process
integration, yield engineering, defect engineering, and data
analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Process Engineering: Work with the Fab Engineering teams on process
modules like photolithography, etch, and diffusion.
·
Data Analysis:
Analyze Statistical Process Control (SPC) trends to identify sources of
variation, improve process control, and reduce product variability.
·
Problem Solving:
Support continuous improvement activities by conducting data mining and
developing solutions to enhance process efficiency.
·
Automation & Analytics: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify
areas for automation and develop algorithms to improve operational
efficiency.
·
Communication:
Engage with global teams across the US, Singapore, and Germany, participating
in lean manufacturing methodologies and problem-solving initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
·
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or
a related field.
·
Semiconductor Knowledge: Basic understanding of semiconductor processing
technology and devices is desirable.
·
Data Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required, along with coding and
scripting skills in Python or R.
·
Statistical Knowledge: Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control
(SPC) is a plus.
·
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work
effectively with global teams are essential.
·
Problem-Solving Ability: The candidate should be proactive, organized, and
capable of tackling complex challenges.
