Role Overview: Intern, Digital Technology (DT)
The Digital
Technology Internship at GE Appliances offers a unique opportunity to
develop your leadership skills, technical expertise, and business
acumen. As a DT Intern, you will gain frontline experience in
various application development projects and infrastructure
management activities. This 20-24 week program will allow you to
work alongside experienced professionals on critical projects using Agile
and Waterfall methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Application Development: Work on web, client-server, standalone, or
mobile applications.
·
Systems Management: Assist in the management and optimization
of systems.
·
Business Process Re-engineering: Contribute to the redesign of business
processes.
·
Infrastructure Management: Support environmental design and build-out.
You will
be responsible for implementing new or updated technologies, providing
troubleshooting assistance, and working on system modules, program
enhancements, and interfaces.
Desired Qualifications:
·
Educational Background:
o Bachelor’s
degree in Technology or Engineering
(B.Tech/BE) with a specialization in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or related fields.
·
Academic Criteria:
o A minimum
aggregate of 60% throughout 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s.
Key Skills:
·
Strong analytical and technical skills.
·
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
·
A good understanding of business/finance concepts.
·
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
·
Prior experience in internships, co-ops, or research
related to technology is preferred.
·
Leadership experience in or outside the classroom.
·
Passion for technology and commitment to a career in DT.
