Cisco’s Apprentice
Program provides a unique platform to experience the corporate world while
gaining industry-relevant skills and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the
apprenticeship program, depending on your team, you may have the opportunity
to:

Design, write, and build tools to enhance the reliability, scalability, and
availability of Cisco systems.
·
Automate deployments, monitor systems, and optimize products in network environments.
·
Ensure
zero downtime while supporting the engineering environment for automated
testing of code actively used by customers.
·
Apply software engineering principles to system administration tasks as a Site
Reliability Engineer (SRE).
·
Gain
insights into application performance, user experience, and business outcomes.
·
Automate
testing of complex distributed systems and develop frameworks for
automating validation processes.
·
Use
modern programming languages and development methodologies.
·
Work
on deploying software upgrades in large SaaS environments.
·
Create
tools that automate complex tasks within operations teams.
·
Learn
HDL or other tools to convert schematic designs into layout designs and
execute hardware automation, validation, and testing.
Who You Are:
·
A
2023/2024 graduate with a final degree completion certificate or
Provisional Degree Certificate.
·
Available
for a 12-month period starting in August 2024.
·
Passionate
about technology with strong communication skills and a desire to learn.
·
Must
be enrolled as a student on NATS (National Apprenticeship Training
Scheme) with a valid enrollment number.
