Role Overview:
As an Engineering
Services Associate, you will be part of the IX Product Engineering
Services team, focusing on Digital Site Designing. Your primary
responsibilities will involve designing operational sites for desktop and
mobile platforms. You’ll work with tools like Adobe Campaign Modules, HTML/HTML5,
CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery to perform day-to-day
operations.
Responsibilities:
·
Substation Connection Studies for 400KV and 275KV, including short circuit analysis
for both 3-phase and single-phase systems.
·
Voltage and Thermal Studies: Conduct voltage studies and thermal analyses to assess contingency
scenarios such as N-1, N-2, and N-D fault conditions.
·
Transformer Studies: Analyze transformer loading, short circuit scenarios,
voltage step changes, and fault conditions to ensure reliability in tertiary
connections.
·
Network Assessments: Examine overhead lines, cables, and transformers to
assess their operational load and performance.
·
Boundary Creation: Develop boundaries and assess the wider network
for thermal and voltage stability during peak and contingency periods.
Skills Required:
·
Knowledge of Substation Studies: Expertise in short circuit analysis, voltage step
changes, and contingency analysis (N-1, N-2, N-D).
·
Experience with Digital Technologies: Understanding of tools and platforms such as HTML,
JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
·
Problem Solving:
Ability to analyze thermal, voltage, and transformer loading issues.
·
Collaborative Skills: Work closely with teams to optimize operations for
desktop and mobile platforms.
Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s
Degree in Engineering (BE)
·
1
to 3 years of relevant experience
