Role Purpose: The primary objective of this role is to
prepare test cases and conduct testing of the product/platform/solution to

Responsibilities

Understanding Test
Requirements and Design:

Grasp the test
requirements and design test cases accordingly.

Plan tests with an
understanding of business and corresponding testable requirements.

Automate the test
lifecycle through VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc.
2. Automation Framework and Reporting:
o
Develop and automate
tests for software validation by setting up test environments, designing test
plans, and developing test cases/scenarios.
o
Ensure defects are raised
per project norms with clear descriptions and replication patterns.
o
Detect bugs, prepare
defect reports, and report test progress.
o
Ensure no instances of
rejection or slippage of delivered work items, adhering to Wipro/Customer SLA's
and norms.
o
Design and release test
status dashboards at the end of each test cycle for stakeholders.
o
Provide feedback on
usability and serviceability, trace results to quality risks, and report them
to stakeholders.
3. Status Reporting and Customer Focus:
o
Maintain high-quality
interactions with customers via emails, fault report tracking, voice calls, and
business etiquette.
o
Ensure on-time deliveries
of WSRs, test execution reports, and relevant dashboard updates in the test
management repository.
o
Accurately update efforts
in eCube, TMS, and other project-related trackers.
o
Respond promptly to
customer requests, avoiding complaints internally or externally.
