As a software engineer at Qualcomm, you will design and develop software for Qualcomm’s mobile chipsets, leveraging the latest advancements in technology. We are looking for energetic, creative, and self-driven engineers to work in the following areas:

· Multimedia Technologies: Audio and Video codecs, Image Processing

· Wireless Modem Technologies: 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Self-Organizing Networks

· Platform Level Software: Linux, Android, Windows, Board Support Packages

· IoT Technologies: Connected Cameras, Smart Assistants, Drones, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality

Key Responsibilities

Campus graduates will work in areas such as:

· Development of real-time embedded software and device drivers

· Mobile software development for Windows Mobile, Android, or Linux

· Understanding OS concepts, data structures, etc.

· Proficiency in C/C++ and object-oriented design

· Knowledge of wireless network standards like CDMA/GSM/UMTS/LTE

· Experience with Linux/UNIX, Linux drivers, and kernel development

· Familiarity with protocols such as TCP/UDP/IP/SIP/RTP, etc.

· Working with multimedia technologies including audio, video, and imaging

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
