Lenovo is seeking passionate and proactive individuals for the role of Process Engineer. This position involves optimizing and managing mobile phone manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

· Identify process bottlenecks and optimize cycle times to ensure line capacity aligns with volume forecasts.

· Maintain declared process and equipment specifications through frequent line audits and drive EMS partners to resolve audit action items.

· Review and approve NPI (New Product Introduction) equipment specifications and SOPs.

· Manage asset details, audit reports, and handle Engineering Change Notices (ECN) implementation.

· Review NPI reports, EMS capacity planning, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) reports.

· Coordinate with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) and lead site teams to execute manufacturing processes smoothly.

· Develop local vendors and localize fixtures.

· Formulate templates to retrieve performance-affecting factors and translate data into actionable insights, strategies, and plans.

· Drive improvement projects for process optimization and savings initiatives.

Requirements:

· Excellence in mobile phone manufacturing processes (SMT/Assembly) and initiatives across the organization with EMS partners.

· Hands-on experience in process equipment and fixtures development, including SMT machines (Mounter, Printer, AOI, Reflow), Assembly machines (Glue dispense, Auto Screwing, Plasma cleaning, and Pressing machines), and clean rooms.

· Strong knowledge of manufacturing yield, capacity calculation, PFMEA (Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), CP (Control Plan), and CPK (Process Capability Index).

· Ability to handle Engineering Change Notices and experience in fixture debugging, CAD/SolidWorks, and fixture localization.

· Should be a passionate team player with proactive thinking, risk assessment, and handling skills.
