Role Overview: Graduate Engineer Trainee – Mechanical with Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

The Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) will be responsible for completing all tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Manager, assisting other engineers with projects, conducting research, and writing reports. This role requires a proactive approach, where you should be able to follow instructions and also take initiative to come up with original ideas.

Responsibilities of a Graduate Engineer Trainee

· Understanding project requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor.

· Shadowing senior staff members, asking questions, and assisting wherever possible.

· Raising concerns and making suggestions for improvement where appropriate.

· Conducting research and traveling to sites as needed.

· Observing health and safety regulations at all times.

· Participating in meetings and attending workshops and other training initiatives.

· Analysing data and writing reports according to specifications.

· Taking notes and sharing findings with your Supervisor and other relevant stakeholders.

· Establishing professional relationships with staff to facilitate collaboration and teamwork.

· Maintaining a high degree of professionalism and diligence in all tasks.

Qualifications for the Role

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.

· Internship experience during B Tech course is preferred.

· Previous experience in a technical field would be an advantage.

· Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Superb time management and professionalism.

· A growth mindset and willingness to accept constructive criticism.

· Understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning cycle, psychrometric charts, evaporation, and condensation.
