About the Role & Team

Our team develops integration solutions at airports into our AMS product. Our solutions also enable system integration between external parties. We follow new technology trends as much as possible while still providing integration into older technologies. We have a high-paced environment that requires a quick turnaround. We follow Agile development principles and have a CI workflow. Our integration platform is a messaging-based solution developed in JAVA.

We are looking for talented Java developers keen on entering the Airports industry and willing to learn about the industry. We are looking for junior developers who are willing to take guidance and grow in the airport integration space.

What You Will Do

Develop integration services using Spring Java framework.
Be part of a team that analyzes the business users’ needs and contributes to the design and development of services to address integration needs.
Develop applications and services, applying standards for programming, naming, security, and performance.
Write unit tests for code to prove correctness.
Maintain and repair applications to keep them performing in accordance with technical and functional specifications.

Qualifications

Experience

Development experience with at least Java 8.
Knowledge of Maven and experience in building software using it.
Experience in writing unit tests for code correctness.
Knowledge of agile development, software design patterns, continuous integration, test-driven development, and version control.
Knowledge of Dev Ops tools (Git, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus/Artifactory …).
Experience in using database technologies.
Knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) would be an advantage.
Bonus if you have Microservices (Docker/Kubernetes etc.) experience.

Nice-to-Have

Spring Framework experience would be an advantage.
Experience in Message Queueing (like IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ, Active MQ) would be an advantage.
Experience working with Microservices (Docker/Kubernetes).
